The voyage of St. Matthew's church from Walton to Newport Landing by sea has been postponed again due to uncooperative weather. The circa 1837 structure has been moved to the waterfront in Walton awaiting its ferry ride up the Minas Basin on the highest tides in the world to historic Newport Landing. The attached picture shows the church sitting waterside at low tide.

The CBC's campaign to determine Canada's Seven Wonders brought in more than twenty-five thousand nominations from the public including Niagara Falls, the Rocky Mountains, and the Bay of Fundy which earned 67,670 online votes. The Northern lights got 60,000 votes and the Cabot Trail 44,073 votes from the public. However, the winners were determined by a panel of judges who decided that Canada's Seven Wonders are:

                     -Pier 21, Halifax
                     -Old Quebec City
                     -the Rocky Mountains
                     -the canoe
                     -the igloo
                     -Niagara Falls
                     -the Prairie Sky
