Each year the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival signals the beginning of the Nova Scotia tourist season. Since its' inception in 1933 the festival has grown to become one of the most important community events in Atlantic Canada and has achieved national and international recognition. The majority of events are focused in the eastern valley communities of Kentville and New Minas but the festival is celebrated from Windsor all the way to Digby.
- The musical component of the festival will be spread throughout various venues of the Annapolis Valley.
- The Apple Blossom Art Show is open at the Greenwood Mall from Thursday to Sunday.
- The second annual Blossom Idol Contest - May 31 - 7 p.m.- Kentville's Centre Square
- The Children's Parade - June 2 - 10 a.m.
- The Grand Street Parade - June 2 - 1 p.m.
